Do ordinary house spiders eat small ants?

Question:You know the kind of small spiders that seem to get in, no matter how tight your windows are closed, this question would include Daddy Long Legs.

I would like to say yes to this. Though I'm not quite sure. There are many different breeds of spiders that can get into your house. I've seen ants eaten by spiders also ants in the webs of spiders. i've also seen ants, bigger than spiders, swarm a spider and pull it apart.
