Which is better/easier to maintain? Soft side with inflatable top ring or metal side pools?

Question:We are buying an easy set-up pool kit. Most I know have those Sun n Swim soft side pools, but some have reported the inflatable ring can get puncture holes in it, yet it's easy to set up. The company also sells a hard side pool, about the same price, it also has to be torn down for the winter, not one of those permanant pools. I wondered which is better, if there are any any perks/disadvantages to each? Thanks!

with the inflatable top, the ground has to be perfectly level.
Our neighbor went through three of them. This year they
switched to the metal side.
