I have impatiens that were outside all winter in illinois will they come back?

Question:

Answers:
The freezing temps usually kill impatiens. You may have a few random plants that come up from seed, but they may not be the same color as the ones you had last year.

It is very unlikely that they will return. They may have reseeded, but for the most part, impatiens are considered an annual. They can't handle the cold of winter.
