Is moss a fungus?

Question:i have to do a project where i have to find all these things and i have to find a fungus so i found some moss. But i want to know is the moss i found a fungus?

Answers:
No. In fact, upto the last classification system using kingdoms, fungi belong to an entirely different kingdom than moss, which belongs to the kingdom "Plantae". Fungi usually do not have chloroplasts, and therefore, do not have the bright green color like usual plant leaves. An easy way to get fungus is to soak some bread in water, and leave it outside in a warm, moist place to get mouldy. That mould is a fungus.

i think moss is a plant
