I've seen 2 roaches in my apartment (never before)?

Question:One last night in my bathroom, one today ( A BABY) on my desk!! There are 4 units in this building, 3 are EMPTY. I'm on the verge of panic. Any suggestions on how the little b@stards are getting in here? What do I do now?

Answers:
For every roach you see, there are hundreds that you can't.
Call landlord and tell them you have the nasty little bastards and you want them to clean and spray the empty units. This is there save haven and as long as they are empty you can not get rid of them. Make sure they spray your unit as well. When they do that, go to the store and get two or three foggers and set them off. It sounds like over kill, but that's what you need to get these guys to run.

Start cleaning up
spray your house with a whole bottle in the cracks evrywhere and leave for a few hours make sure u cover ur face when ur spraying
before you move, set off a bug bomb in a small room, with all your belongings, GET OUT NOW!
get roach traps worked for me.
When I lived in my old apartment, my nasty downstairs neighbors moved out and the day they took their old carpet out we got them. Take care of them NOW, you can either call your landlord and make them do it, I think they use a bomb. I bought these little black house traps and scattered them around my apartment in drawers, cupboards, etc... it took about 4 or 5 days to get them dead. If you have pets use these houses for sure, because spray and bombs can be very harmful to your pets. Oh and don't leave ANY food out!
You've seen 2 but there are hundreds more!! Call your landlord right away and have them spray for the nasty little bugs! Buy your own foggers at the store and set them off in your apt.an pour bleach down your drains...that will help keep them out of your apt!
Maybe the weather changed. Maybe you're not cleaning very well. Buy those cockroach houses that sticks the roachs in it. Or have an insecticide ready by your side. Spray some of it between/under furnitures and bathrooms.
they usually come in boxes from stores.when you purchase things, they hide in the boxes.
Call the landlord.
well if you saw 2 there are many many more ive got the same problem except when you turn on the kichen light the floor pattern moves to the right
Step on 'em!
Examine yr apartment from top to toe. Use some kind of expanding and solidifying liquid to block any holes (you can get it from hardware stores). You can also get insect bombs where you leave yr apartment after setting them off, come back later and all insects are dead.

Roaches can hide in tiny spaces. They can live without their heads and you will not belive me but I once cut one in half trying to catch it with a glass and then the two completely separated halves REASSEMBLED THEMSELVES after some movement and then the cockroach sprinted off while I was still in shock.

I hate cockroaches.
in the summer they seen to come out more for some reason, though, it's true you can get roaches from having a contaminated environment, you can also happen upon some due to the weather, especially if you are experiencing a lot of rain, you can get roach bait at walmart that will get rid of them pretty quickly, but in the mean time, I'd clean really well, and find somewhere else to stay for a week or so
Unclean neighboors, rainy conditons, also you can bring babies in if you move boxes or your neigboors can bring them in when they moved in or out. Spray your apartment and then next day run the vaccum cleaner. You can get control, you just have to destroy them and keep your corners of your apartment sprayed. Also, keep all food closed up and pet food put up when you pet is not eating. Good luck!
No matter what you do, you will still find them. I see them every once in a while in my apartment. They will find the cracks to get in. The eggs can also be in any box or bag you bring into you home. They like dark places, so they are probably loving the other three apartments being empty.
I would call the landlord and have them come spray. I will see dead ones, when I move a box, and when I do see a live one, which is usually once every two or three months, I will kill it. I don't worry that much and I am not the cleanest person, but I don't have old pizza boxes in the corner either.
Could be from the empty apts. or they sometimes travel in stuff from the store.Ask the landlord to bomb all the apts ( yours too) That should help. However, if you treat your apt it won't be enough to stop them. Good luck with the nasty little b@stards!
