Construction question?

Question:What would it take to build house that could standup to tonardo?

Answers:
A really good shovel, and a lot of concrete. If you meant a more traditional appearing house, I do not think it is practical, or possible. There are many things you can do to make a house stronger. Extra bracing in the attic, hurricane clips on the roof joists, ring shank nails in the decking and sheathing, functioning shutters for windows, all will make your house more likely to withstand high winds, but in a tornado, it is good to have a cellar to run to.
