What would be a good mix of rainy days and sunny days for a garden to produce a good crop?
Question:
Answers:
I think that there are too many variables to give a precise number. In a perfect world, it would have to depend on what type of crops are being grown, and the region. Personally, where I live, there are four true seasons:winter, spring summer, and fall. Ideally, the winter would bring just enough snow to protect the earth. The spring would provide steady rainfall at night(not too much, but enough),to ready the earth, and sun during the day, (not too hot)for optimal growth. The summer would be plentiful with rain and sun for a healthy harvest. The temperatures would have to be perfect in all of the seasons to accommodate the crops. I think we have to make the adjustments that Mother Nature does not provide, and be thankful for all that she does!
"Only Mother Nature knows"
This is not an answer but a comment: Sometimes I think that it would be best if we had a heavy rain once a week and sunshine the rest of the week.
