What to do if your contractor did not do a good job?
Question:I had a contractor (with a valid license) to work on my backyard concrete a several months ago. He did not seal the concrete correctly and dirt sticks so bad on the concrete all over and cannot be cleaned. My husband tried to pressure washed it but the dirt did not come off. We contacted the company (contractor) and told them about the problem. They gave us many reasons why that happened and did not seem to want to fix the problem.
What should we do?
Answers:
You can file a complaint with your states contractor license board and the BBB. I would also suggest writing a letter sending it certified to the contractor stating the problem and your expectation of a repair. You may have to pursue legal channels if you cannot get this resolved.
Good luck
Seek legal advice & I would report him to the BBB (Better Business Bureau) so no one else will fall victim to this guy. Save all documentation concerning this matter.
if they won't do anything about the problem I would contact the better buisness bureau in you town and let them know...when there pocket start to hurt they'll either close up or turn around...
if he refuses to make it right with you,you can turn him in to the better business bureau,or call the attorney general.that should make him want to fix it for you.
call once more and ask him to come look at it,then ask him if he wants the BBB to get involved.I would still report your dissatisfaction with them.He is responsible for the concrete getting done properly...
