HELP! I am trying to buy a new home!!?
Question:There is new builds coming up in our area which are due to be released on friday. We have been told to expect people to queue maybe even camp! From personal experiences can anyone tell me when i should start queing and any other helpful tips!! May i add there is a large shortage for the type of house in the area!Thanx

Sorry, but my family would have to be starving before I agreed to queue for anything. It's all a load of hype.

Are the houses normal price? You must live in a real hot spot!
I saw something similar to this on the tv, and they had camped for 3 nights before the houses had been released, depends how desperate you are as to how soon you start queuing hun.
Depends on the area that you are looking in. Do you think that they will really go that fast? Are you in an area where housing is at a premium? Is this for a house or a condo?
Different people will tell you different things depending on the market in which you live. I currently make more in equity growth than I'm paying for my mortgage but I'm in an area where housing is at a premium. Do your homework. Go to the local courthouse or do some internet searching to find out how many houses are in foreclosure in the area and if they are really making it all the way to foreclosure. If they are (getting completely into foreclosure) you are looking at a potential rip off.
Find a good realtor (talk with people who have bought homes, ask for recommendations for a good realtor, try out the realtor and don't feel bad it they don't 'fit' with your style). Go with your gut but don't get emotional on this. I know several people who have been pressured into a sale by someone who was good at manipulating emotions. Good luck hunting!
