How do i get rid of flies in the house? In the nice weather im leaving the doors and windows open..?
Question:but at night i really hate it in the bedroom when there can be more that 2 or 3 flies buzzing around. Just wondered if there was something i could put out to draw them to it rather than try to spray them one by one which stinks the house and takes loads of time.

Vapona do a flower sticker, packs of two that you stick to your windows and the flies are attracted to them- it kills them and you end up with a window still of dead flies. You could also try burning citronella candles or oils- they don't like that- or growing lemon grass in pots around the house- its supposed to deter them.
Nets at the windows and a beaded curtain at the door.
get a battery powered fly squatter from maplin.i had the same problem but not anymore.There gr8.
Yeah, terrible isnt it. We have anti-fly frequency machines, pheromone attractors on all windows and normal fly spray stinks but you can get no-smell fly spray which is only way I have found to work.

When i was on holidays there was a guy who was good at catching flyes and killing them by hand. But he went to some sort of scouts.

There's not much you can do once they are in the house other than tracking them down one at a time. Try hanging a bag (ziploc) of water in the doorway. Leave it open. Dont know why, but this stops flies from coming in. Hang on in your bedroom doorway during the day.
If you have a flyswatter, use that instead of spray. It's a little messier (bug guts) than spray (even though spray leaves a residue) but at least it doesn't stink up the house.

This sounds really crazy, but I've seen it work at outdoor markets. Fill a zip-lock type baggie with water and just hang it from the top of the door frame. Also, some places sell a screen that can be hung from the top of the door and rolled up when not in use. I don't know the name of it though. Good luck!
You can get those Lantern things that show a Blue Light, Its the same thing that they have in youre local Butchers only Smaller and Cylindrical in Shape. The Flies are Attracted to the Light and are Electrocuted. You can get a Fly Mesh for Windows and Doors.
Although I haven't tried it yet, Basil (the herb), is meant to keep flies away.
Where are you having nice weather? Let us know we'll all come round. Sick of the rain, would rather have a couple of flies than this much longer. You can always get a fly swatter. Can't do anything about the rain.
Try good old fashioned fly papers, not so pretty as a mobile, but very effective.
