One waterbug...?

Question:I just saw what I think was a waterbug run across my kitchen counter. (It looked too big for an earwig, although those are the only bugs I have seen around my house previously) Does that mean I have an infestation? Or is it possible to have just one random waterbug? My kitchen is clean, and I don't leave food sitting round. And it's a free-standing house so it isn't because of filthy neighbors.

Answers:
I live in Florida and the waterbugs are 2 inches long. They come in from under the house, they live in the dirt and come in when it gets too dry or hot or wet or whatever. You probably don't have an infestation but it probably means more than one would like to come inside from outside.

Well if this is the only time you've seen one, it's probably not an infestation, just keep watch and if you see an increase of them, then call an exterminator, otherwise I wouldn't panic about it, bugs get into even clean houses some times.
IT COULD BE BECAUSE OF YOUR NEIGHBORS, IT IS PROBABLY A SILVER FISH, THEY TEND TO GO TOWARD WATER, LIKE KITCHENS AND BATHS
