Can you preseve rose pettals if yes how??

Question:i want to preseve some pettals

Answers:
The granules everyone is trying to tell you about is called Silica. It dries out flowers and petals.

yes buy a flower presser, or keep them between the pages of a book, thats what i do!
yes .. get a bowl of hair spray and dip the petals in the hairspray then lets them dry for a while then just keep spraying them with hairspray every now and then .. that should preserve them ... i preserved a whole bouquet of flowers from a dance preformance like that so it should work! good luck!
if its just the petals, i just let them dry out. if it is the entire flower, coat it in shalac and hang it upside down to dry. the stuff comes in a spray can, but i'm not sure if i just spelled it right.
You can also buy stuff at a craft store (like those packets of beads that come in things to keep moisture out)--it dehydrates the petals & preserves them (you cover the petals with the stuff)
Yes. Go to a craft store and ask for flower preserver. It looks like sugar. You put the flowers in a bowl covered by the granules and they absorb all the moisture. The product contains crystals that turn a different color when it has been used. This indicates it needs recharging, usually by leaving it out in the sun.
cilica powder.
If your drying a bunch rather than silica try dessicant (Home Depot etc Plumbing Section) used to dry air in large areas (wet basement)
