Will pine oil keep moths and mites from my house plants?

Question:

Answers:
Pine oil might kill the plant. For the mites, make an infusion of marigold spray: crush/grind marigold flowers and let steep in a quart of water overnight. Next day, strain the flowers out and put liquid in a spray bottle. Mist your plants with this to get rid of mites.
For moths, moth balls; a few placed around the perimeter of your plant pots.
