I think a wasp/hornet/bee might be building a nest on the inside of my wall?!?
Question:I was sitting on my bed when I heard this buzzing sound, like a wasp or bee makes. I looked all around my room for the source of the sound but there was none... then I put my ear up to my wall and heard this massive buzzing sound! I looked out my window and wasps or hornets were entering somewhere through the outside of my wall but I'm not sure where. Whats going on?
Answers:
honey bees like walls may have to call a bee keeper out to trap the queen bee and the rest will follow as wasp, yell jackets, nest outside of walls in most case's as for hornets they build nest in trees unless its a ground hornets but they have a mean streak a mile long be very careful around that kind if it is. even Honey bees will attach if there nest is messed with
Spray some Raid in the hole and plug it quickly. Leave it plugged permanently.
Sounds like you've got a problem! Call wasp and bee control immediately!
Or if you'd like to take care of this yourself, this website has some DIY tips: http://www.extension.umn.edu/distributio...
You need to smoke them out no matter what they are;
The best thing I have found is either Raid Fogger or Hot Shot Fogger; they do they job pretty well by killing thme or driving them out. You may have to do this a few times to make it very unpleasant for them, like a week or two apart.
Both products are available at Wal Mart; 3 cans to a box and costs about 8 or 9 dollars.
Several years ago I had the same problem. It was honey bees in my wall.I had to have a bee keeper remove them.I let him keep the bees and he let me keep the honey.
