Troubles & remedies of sewing machine?

do maintenance regularly if you are using the machine or if it has been left for a while. Remove the fluff in the lower section that holds the bobbin and use machine oil to lubricate preferably following the instruction book or at least where there are movable parts and oil holes. If trouble occurs try using a different bobbin as the winding on the bobbin needs to be fairly even. Also the needle may need to be changed as a sharp new one will make for smoother sewing. Check that it has been threaded correctly as sometimes on some machines it can slip. Check the tension by closely examining the stitching---not too loose and not to tight. If you are still having trouble have a cup of tea and try again later It can be surprising that problems can be solved at a later time from a refreshed point of view. If the problems persist it may be time for maintenance by an expert. They may be able to lend you a machine while yours is being serviced. Finally you could also think of a newer machine not necessarily brand new just a bit better as later equipment tends to be more user friendly and easier to use (I have been told idiot proof) so good luck and go to it and try to make it a lot more fun and not just tedious work.
