What is a casitas. I see it advertised with homes for sale. I am not sure if it is spelled casita or casitas

Casita means "little house". Do the advertised homes have small, separate living quarters? Most likely the homes are in the spanish style so having a casita would be like a colonial having a separate apartment or "mother-in-law" quarters.
