Need homemade remedy for removing citronella wax stains from brick pavers?

Question:Wax was spilled while warm and soaked into the patio brick pavers. Tried commercial products with no success. Tried homemade remedy of citrus cleaner and kitty litter with very little success.

Answers:
Ice. Lots of ice. It will make it harden even further and then will ball up easily when slowly warming again.

Hope this helps.

Place a paper towel on top of wax and press with a warm iron. The hot wax should absorb into the towel. Replace the towels frequently to absorb wax as you work.
When dealing with lost wax casting we used to get wax all over we would use a weed torch to burn it away. It might work on the brick but i would test it somewhere you can't see :)

Any torch should work (if it works at all).
Heat it up again so that it is liquid and then pour lots of salt on to it. It gets absorbed into the salt.
Try a wax remover from Home Depot...
Pour boiling water on the wax. It will loosen right up and you can scrap it off.
