I have one on my porch that my son gave me 6years ago.I pretty much ignore it and it does great.HaHa. I only water it if it is dry. However I went and looked it up in my success with house plants book.I found the same picture of it.The name is Tavaresia.
It says although it looks like a cactus it is a member of the milkweed family.
Light and temperature-bright position and temperature should not drop below 55 degrees F.
Water and feeding-water regularly through summer allowing to dry between watering.Add a little fertilizer a couple times through the summer.Reduce watering to absolute minimum in winter and no feeding.
Soil-repot every 2nd or 3rd year.Use commercial cactus soil .
I hope this helps now I know what kind of plant I have too.
