I know there is a site called freecycle and it's world wide I think. I go to the australia freecycle and people give away all sorts of stuff for free, even new stuff they don't want. I think the site would be www.freecycle.com

never heard of it
Yes, it's called Freecycle, and there are Yahoogroups around the country.

Go to Yahoo Groups and search for Freecycle and Colorado and there is a chance there is one in the area

Also check out Craigslist in selected Colorado cities.
you are speaking of 'yahoo 'free cycle', which is a "gifting" service. thats gifting as in giving, no bartering, trading or selling items are allowed!! it is also connected with the recycling of items for a cleaner environment! you can give items you no longer need or recycle certain items.
you are probably talking about freecycle. It is great I've used it a lot. There are groups all over. A friend of mine in Texas told me about it and I'm in Idaho. This is a link to the main site
www.freecycle.org
Just go on and find a group near you then read the rules some. Some of the groups are more strict then others.
