Help me get rid of ants?!?!?!?
Question:They do crawl thru cinnamon and baby powder, and they will crawl across a line of chalk. Any more ideas? I've never had such an infestation before and I could just cry! I've Ortho-Max sprayed my foundation, and even laid the powder form down too! I clean nonstop so that's not it. Help me!

Maybe you should try boric acid (powder) -- it works well on roaches.
I've heard that corn meal will work, but I've never tried it.
I bought ant baits last year, at Walmart. They are little orange tin disks. You use a blunt instrument, like a screwdriver, to open the little windows, and you put them outside around your doors, and hide them in your pantry. They will draw them, and they will take the poison back to the colony. That takes about a week to work.
Ok, What Im About To Say Is Really To True To Me And I Hope It Help You Out Too. What I Did One Summer Was Go The Source Where They Were Coming From And Kill As Much As I Could And Let Some Go Back To Their Home Hoping That They Would Warm The Other Not To Come Back. And It Worl For A Week And Then A Few Started To Come Back, (I Guess To Check If It Was Clear) And I Just Kill Them Off Too And Then They Never Came To Visit For The Rest Of The Summer.
I use se7en dust. It's in a red bag and inexpensive. You can buy it anywhere you can buy other gardening supplies. If you put it directly on the ant hills or the ants themselves, the ants will carry it in and it will wipe them out. I use it inside my window sills where I seem to be getting a lot of ants as well as around the perimeter of my home.
I use the ant motels. U can buy them at Walmart for about $3-$7 depending on which one you get. I have a constant ant problem and its the only thing that works and it lasts up to 2-4 mths.
I have used grits for ants since I was little and always worked.Sprinkle some grits where the nts are or coming from and they will eat it then find water and the grits will swell inside and they explode.Ant baits work good inside.Don't put the grits out before it rains though because it will swell before they eat it and it will not work.
