Modular homes are inspected more than stick built houses, but how much more??

Question:I know its like 3 or 4 times more but not sure

Answers:
Modular homes are built in a factory with independent inspectors overseeing the build process and then more inspections generally are done when the modules are pieced together on the assembly day.

I have not heard of 4 times more inspections than stick built homes. Maybe someone is considering the amount of inspection visits. In the factory the inspector can look at the modular home everyday whereas the local building inspector of a stick built home will only visit the work site a few times.
