Home Sweet Home?!?

Question:My mom is always like "Theres a Scratch on this plate we need to buy new ones" aka she likes thinks to always look brand new. Even though it's not my house and I can't control it. I personally think i feel more comfortable in houses that look like people actullay live there. Like not messy but not where everything is sparkling and perfect. My house has been under contrustion for 13 years. (im 13 years old). But sometimes my dad will start a project and another one. He'll take to much on at a time. He has gotten better.

But How can I help show my mom that it's such a nicer feeling to go into someones house and be able to see a few scratches on plated-or a stain on the carpet here or there. Not too messy but you know...nice. DOES anyone agree with me? Can you help me?

It's summer and I want family and friends to come over but I mostly, I want my mom to relaxe.
Thanks! :]

Answers:
Wow you are a smart 13 year old. You should talk to your mom about this. Or just simply show her this letter. Tell her to quit wasting money on dumb things like that. Who cares about a scratch! Tell her to take the money and go do something fun as a family. (whatever your family is into) I wish more kids were like you!
