Composite deck?

Question:need help with a composite deck that keeps giving static shocks, is there anyway to ground the deck or another way to eliminate or cut down on the static build up so that the owners will not be getting shocked everytime they walk across it?

Answers:
Very unusual. Use a metal bolt with a heavy duty wire attached to it and bolt it to underside of deck. Attach wire to ground stake, metal rod at least 24" long, which is driven into ground. Atmospherics will play a large roll in this, ie: cool dry weather. Do this in a very inconspicuous place ! Good luck !
