Is kitchen waste water ok for plants?

Question:

Answers:
If you are using a biodegradable soap (such as Method or Seventh Generation), then the dish water should be fine for outside plants. By the same token, so is your bath water and laundry water.

I would avoid using wastewater with uncomposted food debris on houseplants, as it creates a stagnant environment which is much too hospitable to bacteria, fungus and pests.

Hope that helps :)

Why would you use "waste" on your plants. Think of your question.
Nope, not enough minerals in them.
I don't think it's a good idea since it contains soap and dissolved food which may end up spoiling later. I used to collect rainwater from the gutters; since is has no chlorine, the plants thrived, inside and out. Try it--it's free!
yep
no! the best water for plants is water that comes from a fish tank its excellent fertilizer.or you can go to any nursery or walmart and get fish emulsion it makes your plants very green and healthy
If you want them dead! lol...
What an unusual question. My daughter had a plant she kept watering in the kitchen that we just had to throw away because it died and the dirt was covered in mold. I wonder if she was dipping water out of the sink sometimes then. Ew.
no it's not, too many residual chemicals in it and the soap alone will harm the plants
My Grandma used to use dishwater on her roses all the time. She said that it kept the bugs from eating them. I think she just used the water and no food particles but she always had beautiful roses!
