Window bird feeders?

Question:Are the bird feeders you stick to your window a good idea? I'd worry that the birds may fly into the window and kill themselves. Anyone any experience of them?

Answers:
I did have one once and that very thing happened... The fix for it was to get window clings of stuff to put on the window around the corners. We put butterfly window clings on and after that had no problems... It works best if you put them about 6 inches around the feeder.

Good luck!

I`d stick to the other types. It will dirty your windows and if it keeps falling off you could find yourself with a mouse problem. I have a bird table fixed on top of a post in my fence and I can still see them.
those would not be a good idea, unless you extremely want to and have no other choice.
ive sen them at nature centres when people can lok at an area of a garden and watch birds feeding etc, i think they will be ok they will have something to land on anyway
