I need to get baby raccoons?

Question:Hey there, this is my second post on a similar question as I have a bit of a different circumstance. We caught a mamma raccoon last night and let her go (followed the rules about taking her very far away). However, we know that she was nursing and now we need to get to the babies. I went into the attic where the noise comes from but realized they are down on the bottom floor, behind the fireplace. So going up into the attic of a two story home to reach down in the bottom floor is not going to work. I looked at items called cat graspers but they won't reach that many feet down. Outside of removing the outside wall, how can I get these babies? Any thoughts? THey will die soon and I don't want that for many reasons.

Answers:
Find a wildlife rehabilitor inn your area. Check with the state department of fish and game, department of wildlife etc. They will have recommendations for you.

You may be subject to a fine because you knowingly removed a mother from her babies.

The babies need to be removed or they will DIE, VERY SOON without food.

Call animal control to come and remove them.
Well you made a right pigs ear of that. You should have left well alone and let the mother raise a family. Lord, save me from the tree hugger's of this world!
