How can I get rid of ants in a car trunk?

Question:I can't use a fogger because it would explode the car, any suggestions are appreciated!

Answers:
Hi,

Sprinkle a mix of boric acid and sugar around the edges of your boot.

The sugar tempts them and the boric acid kills them when they eat it.

Don't worry they do not keel over on the spot they usually take it back to the nest and share it.

Boric acid is NOT very toxic to animals or children, vomiting if eaten would be the worst effect, in fact it is used diluted as an eye wash, so you are safe to use it and you should be able to pick some up at the chemist.

Raid
Remove the source (food) and use a vacuum or glue boards to catch them.

Purchase those little black ant traps, they are sort of octagon in shape and come 4 - 6 to a package they are pretty inexpensive you can get at almost any store and place in your trunk, they eat the food and then die off, you will have to vacuum your trunk, but no smell, no mess, and no pesticides in the air
