Help!! I need ideas to improve my homes curb appeal!!?

Question:The hillside in front of my home is covered with out of control English Ivy and Lilly of the valley. Does anyone have any ideas to improve this are of the yard??

Answers:
For curb blocks , paint them in 2 contrast colors
For curb walk way use tiles or plant it

Maybe all you need is to define its boundaries with decorative stone edging and clear out a space or two for specimen trees or shrubs. If it's already shady, work a hydrangea and clumps of large hosta specimens. The key is to vary the visual height and color so that you have interest at various elevations. If these are under trees, consider raising the tree canopy to allow more light so that you can work with other plants and keep the area from looking crowded.

You can also cut back the plants 2x per year to wrangle it back into shape. :)
Get rid of the ivy. Lilly of the Vally multiplies every year. They need to be thinned out. I need to see a pic of this to know what to do.
