How can I get rid of ants with out using bug spray?

Question:in the kitchen and bathroom.

Answers:
Try sprinkling black pepper or cayenne pepper wherever you see ants crawling, they don't like pepper much.

There are little ant traps with chemicals in them that you can buy and just set them around. They must be safe, they use them in nursing homes and they're only about as big as a cookie.
When you clean, use **** 'N' Span. (It can also be used as a "bug spray.")
Apparently, they edit that product name because of a certain racial slur ...
Just go directly to your Mother and father, and ask them to ask their sisters to please leave, works every time.
kian pepper (red hot) around the areas they can get in will confuse the trail. It has been a old wives tale but is does work. Also go out and find the ant hill and use some fuel down the peak to kill the colonies
chalk. they won't cross it.
yes billy has the answer.
these things are really cool the ants take the food inside of them and go back to the colony to feed the rest and they all die.
go to home depot and ask for ant traps. if you have lots of the things get 2 packages. these little cans have a small hole which needs to be punched out and set them around where the ants tend to be seen.
