it might be coming from the plaster thats keeping your house together...or your drywall or sheetrock...it might be pollen.thats a toughie!
Carpets are the primary source of dust retention and recirculation within most homes. Replacing carpets with wood or tile flooring is the best way to reduce existing built-up dust. Other fabrics should be vacuumed regularly with a good dust filtering vacuum curtains, cloth upholstered furnitures and stuffed animals should all be vacuumed or removed from the residence.
