My roof deck is covered in Chiggers-how do I kill them?
Question:Luckily I have not had any on my body yet, but the wall is crawling with them. Short of a huge insecticide spray, does anyone know a more "green" way of killing off a swarm of these biting pesks?

that is not chiggers they like tall weeds do you have tall weeds on your roof
You have something else going on, not chiggers.
Warm soapy water is all that is necessary to remove and kill chiggers. There is no need, and it is rather dangerous, to apply household products such as kerosene, turpentine, ammonia, alcohol, gasoline, salt or dry cleaning fluid. Don't do it.
