Live in south ga. have sugar ants crawling all over my house OUTSIDE! no help from exerminator. suggestions?
Question:no ants in the house just tiny ones eveywhere outside. the exterminator's been here a dozen time to no avail. they're on my patio, carport, house, yard , even my plants. this is an ongoing prolem and we cannot find the nest.

GET SOME BORIC ACID IN POWDER FORM, THEY HAVE IT AT WALMART AND HARDWARE AND SUPPLY STORES
oh my god i had that same problem with red ants and they came into my bed while i was alseep and bit the sh*t out of me i put clorox in thier nests and i covered them in lotion and shampoo i dont recoment that but clorox really works on their nests
I don't know if you have a Home depot or a Loews hardware store down there in Ga but they have liquid ant bait traps that sugar ants LOVE. The liquid is clear and will kill their nest in a matter of days. I use it in my house and have had great success. It comes in an orange box with about 8 traps inside.

sorry I live in S Ga too but I dont know what to do about them outside but if they do get in put some sugar water in a glass/cup where the are the most and empty it every 1-2 days. they will try to get it and drown. Sorry thats all I can suggest
i don't want to sound like a commercial but the best stuff i have ever used is call Grant's Kills Ants. i set them around my apartment buildings every year to prevent them from establishing colony's that may get into them. can be bought at any big box hardware store.
The pest company need to use a good bait,None of our employees ever need to go back that many times to treat ants,either he is just spraying or he has not properly identified the ants
