How do I get rid of the abundance of rabbits in my yard that are eating my flowers?

Question:I planted marigolds in my garden and they are getting eaten up by a large number of rabbits. I would like to find a way to stop this.

Answers:
A cat?

A fence?

A dog?

Humane Society?

Plant a carrot patch on the other side of the yard?

Shot gun would work quite well.
My Granny had many vegatable and fruit trees in TN. She worked in a nursing home and would bring home hair from the patients and spread it around the garden soil. Swore by it...the scent of humans would scare them away. Guess you could try hair from your hairbrushes and hopefully it will work for you, too.
A fence could do the trick. Or get an outside cat or dog to chase them.
Buy a dog.
Put up a rabbit proof fence on the inside of a cute picket fence of some type this will keep the little critters from feasting on your marigolds or other plants. Also if you own an inside cat, sprinkle some ot the used, but sifted, litter around the edge. Do not put it around edible plants such as vegies though. This will keep the bunnies from wanting to be near the animal that left the scent so to speak.
