In the summer is your ceiling fan supposed to turn clockwise or counterclockwise?

Question:

Answers:
clockwise pushes the air down, and counter-clockwise pulls the air up.
when it's really hot I like to have mine set to pull the heat up, and I run an air-conditioner in the room or a fan to cool the room. You don't want a fan blowing hot air on you.

counter clock wise
Right now mine is going counterclockwise, its blowing air down on me.I guess its up to you, some people like to have it opposite to pull the warm air up, since hot air rises, in the summer if its hot in your house you would just be pushing the hot air down.
