Hi, Does anyone know what type of bugs these are?
Question:I have these bugs in my house, that resemble the Dermestid beetle. However, they are slightly longer (10mm) and slightly thinner (3mm). They have the same dark shell, and lots of tiny legs too! They aren't Dermestid beetles because they prefer the dark rather than the light. There is always around a dozen of them under some newspaper that I keep the catfood bowl on. When I move the paper back, they all scarper!
If anyone knows what they are that would be great, because I wanna get rid of the ugly f***ers the best way.
Ps They are always dead ones too (curled up) so I cant imagine they have a life expectancy of over a week.
Thanks,
Steven

German cockroach?

Do not use spray. They will just migrate to another part of the house. They love paper. They will leave little brown spots everywhere.
Use Boric Acid. They wash their little hands and feet all the time so when they step into the fine powdered acid they wash it off and digest the acid which kills them. Best way ever.

Silver fish are small, soft insects with out wings, they have a flat body
which is covered in overlapping scales. They are about half inch long. Silver
fish prefer damp, moderate temperature places such as basements, laundry rooms
and under sinks. Occasionally you can find them in bath tubs, seeking food or
moisture. Silver fish prefer vegetable matter, however when inside they will
almost anything, such as, dried beef, flour, starch, paper, gum, glue, cotton,
linen, rayon, silk, sugar, molds, breakfast cereals, wall paper paste, books
and papers.
