What is a good type of plant to keep in my house?

Question:I need a plant that will liven up my house especially in my room and around the house? I need easy to keep alive and hard to kill.

Answers:
Sanseveria (mother-in laws tounge) pothos (those heart shaped leaved ivy things) parlor palm, ZZ plant... all of those are pretty difficult to kill, can handle low interior light, and don't need too much water. Just don't expect any major growth or drama from them.

spider plants are easy
go to the store and find plants with tags that say 'house plants' on them. I recommend spider plants and bamboo plants becuase they are easy to take care of.
Philodendron-easy to grow-you can get it in green leaves or green and white leaves.
