I have a 1951 singer sewing machine that winds the bobbin manually. Can you purchase a winder separately?

I have a 1930's Singer 32volt d/c or 115 volt a/c. Made in Canada it was the first electric Singer made. I'm not sure what your 1951 (year of my birth) looks like, but if it's like mine it has a factory winder that's almost automatic and easier to use than modern Singers. Do you have the owners manual? You may be missing a "route" when threading it on. Check with Singer they may still print manuals or have PDF you could look into. RScott
