Wanting to rent privately?

Question:i dont want to go through an estate agent, i would like to go through the landlord directly. im from cheshire,uk and would like to rent around cheshire, or flintshire area in uk.

would someone please give me advice on what website to look at, ive been on property laddre and the loot and there was nothing there.

ive put an ad in the local shop window and the quids in to say what im looking for but i am not getting anywhere.also, been around the area and havent had much luck with shop windows, nore the local newspaper. what else can i do to look?

Im not sure about where you live, but here in Iowa in our local newspaper there are all kinds of adds in the clasified section about property for rent. They are directly thru the landlord. GL!
