How do remove debris from over the fence?
Question:My house backs up to a corn field and besides cutting down what's just over the fence like the random sapling and odd growing stauch of something, we toss over small branches and grass clippings BUT after 4 years, it has accumulated to be a huge mess.
There is no driving access to there (unless you count a tractor) so I'm wondering for ideas other than burning the pile.
I don't have any farm items like a giant pitchfork or so I might have to rent something, but what would be the most practical item to use? I don't care if it stays there as much but the random branch is holding stuff up for too much air, so it's not decomposing.

You might want to rent a chipper/shredder and shred the limbs into mulch which you may use in your garden. The main problem is that it's on the other side of the fence where you say there is no access, but it sounds like you're going to have to toss all of the debris back over to your yard in order to do something with it anyway. If you rent a chipper/shredder, just make sure that it will handle the size limbs that you're talking about. FYI, chipper/shredders are heavy, so you'll have to either arrange for the transportation of a fairly heavy piece of machinery, or you'll need to call a company that does chipping/shredding (if you have enough debris to warrant it).
