House Beetles? plz help!?

Question:okay there are these SUPER annoying tiny beetles infesting my home! can anyone help me find out what they are? Okay they are really tiny only about 5mm long and maybe 2 mm wide. they look black/brown from far away, but if you look close they are redish. they can fly. they look like they are always getting caught in our water glasses and drowning, so now we always have to check b4 we drink anything. they like the light and they are EVERYWHERE, especally on the ceiling. they started in my kitchen and spread to the rest of the house. their bodies look just like the "Twelvespotted lady beetle" but their color is all brown/redish. plz help me, they are SO annoying. i only wanna know what they are and then maybe i can figure out how to get rid of them

I am not sure but it sounds like ladybugs. they will infest a house, i have seen some that are lighter colored. other than them I'm not sure what they are.
