My dad used to boil water and add dish soap and then
pour the mix down the mound. I was asking about sugar
ants the other day and someone suggested vinegar you
might have some luck with vinegar also.

Fire Ant Remedy
1 quart water
1/4 oz of peppermint powder
5 tablespoons Jungle Rain (available at a nursery)
2 oz powdered ivory soap
1 oz citra solve (available at health food store)
Mix all the ingredients in a plastic spray bottle and spray anywhere you have seen ants and in their nest if you can find it.
