House Party!?
Question:i'm having a house party next friday and i'm dreading it! it'd the first time i have been trusted alone and i don't want my house to get trashed! i have a plan to hide all the valuables and lock all cabinets etc. any advice on how i can ensure this party goes well?? cancelling it is out of the question people know about it and are all coming so please don't suggest that thanks x x x

Put everything that you do not want to get broken or stolen in a locked room. Hide all of your parents car keys. Ask that everyone smoke outside because that is how I got busted. They found burn holes two weeks later. Make sure no one is drinking dark colored drinks. Try to keep the volume down. If the cops are called your parents will be notified. Take my word on that!!
Scotch Guard everything fabric, have a dustbuster on hand and take care of spills right away, try to find food that doesn't stain or make much of a mess, and prepare, prepare, prepare.

Explain the simple rules to the guests as they arrive. Have fun but, don't wreck anything. If you like being trusted, this shouldn't be too hard.
