Oh sweetie I have the same problem and despite numerous searches on the t'internet haven't found anything better. I've made some "skirts" which look silly but a heck of a lot better than the awful raisers. I have heard that a company called Kleeneze@ do something which look like a plant pot that you put the legs of your furniture in, but they wouldn't help me as my leather suite has bun feet! Doh.

look on the internet for sofa extenders
paint them green
Why not change the legs to ones that are higher? In the US, home improvement stores and upholsterers carry all sort of legs, most of which can simply be screwed into the existing mounts under most furniture. Turn the suite up on end to see how the existing legs are attached, remove one and take it with you to find a taller set. They come in all styles from bunn feet to Queen Anne to Empire. You can get them unfinished and paint or stain them to match whatever you want.
Use milk crates, the posh ones from organic farms.
