Every year we have wasps come to the same tree. They are there for the sap.?
Question:They feed all day long but do not build a nest. The tree leaks sap which attracts them. How can I stop the tree from leaking sap or make is so the wasps don't want to return?

if it is that bad get rid of it or spend another summer with the wasp
Go buy a woodchuck to chuck wood. or get a chainsaw and cut the thing down.
there is no way to stop the sap from leaking,however i have heard of a bug bag you can hang in the tree to keep pests away.
