What's better in Colorado; a whole house fan or Air Conditioning?
Question:I have a three month old baby and don't think i want to go through the CO summer without some way to cool our home. We have a smaller house and it has vaulted ceilings. Any other suggestions are welcome.

I'd get a window cooler
Colorado has many climates! If you have over 65% humidity in the summer where you are, a de-humidifier would make you very comfortorable untill your temp. is over 80 degrees.Remember that humid air does not lend to your physical evaporation which cools you.
You may be suprised that the cool feeling of A/C is 75% due to the removal of humidity.
However if its real hot, an A/C unit is the best of both worlds,it removes heat from the air and also the humidity..
