Tips for keeping roses looking fresh.?

Question:I got married on 6th July and just returned back from our honeymoon, my flowers which were red roses, have been put into the fridge for the period of this time, but it cannot stay in there forever! Does anyone know how to keep roses looking lovely, so that I am able to keep them and look presentable. Many thanks

Answers:
They won't last forever obviously, but I heard Sprite is very good to put them in, and I agree with the aspirin theory. I ve gotten a tablet from the florist to drop in the water with roses.
Hope I've helped. :-)

The only tip I know is that you should cut the stems at an angle...Hope that helps!
put sugar in the water their in
Continue changing the water each day and every other day pop them in the friedge. That makes them last for weeks!
Nothing lasts forever. Dry them or squash them into glass like people do with insects.
I know they last longer if you cut the stems at an angle, but not sure how long.
put them in the fridge!!!!!!!!
put an asprin in the water, i know it sounds silly but it works
stand them in lemonade, this has a similar affect to standing them in sugar water except that the sugar often settles on the bottom, with lemonade it is already diluted, also try standing them in a shaded area in water up to their necks for a few hours, i am not sure what this does but my dear old Granny used to swear by it. good luck.
Put them in a big glass jar of water and leave in a cool spot in the garden.
