Tiny bugs in my bathroom?

Question:I have these tiny little black bugs in a wicker unit in my bathroom. They are really small and look a little like beetles only tiny. Does anyone have any idea what they are? In a previous house I lived in we had a whicker chest in the bathroom and the same thing happened. Any ideas (in the UK, by the way)?

Answers:
I had these some years ago. I had to get rid of all of my wicker work - they ate holes in my table mats! - and my glass jars with cork lids. I had a jar of dried dill and when I reached for it the whole jar was moving - yuk! I now have laminate mats and stainless steel jars with airtight lids.

I think you'll have to get rid of the wicker unit to be on the safe side or they'll keep coming back.

Get rid of the wicker basket.
