Where can you get those metal sticks that you use to keep your sliding glass door from opening?
Question:Not at Lowes, Home Depot, Walmart, K- MArt, hardware store, Target...I don't know where to get them.
Answers:
I know that any manufacturing company for doors should have em, or you could try to get them at a home security store or web site.... I believe they are called doorguards.
hope this helped you out.oh yeah, you could use a broom handle(wood) cut to the right length,..
you could use the bottom portion of a crutch (the part that is removable), with the little cork on the end.theses are probably the best alternatives, seeing that the wood is pressed and more durable
use a peice of wood.
Make one yourself. You can use practically anything, even a wooden dowel rod. Cut it to the necessary length. A 5/8-inch or 3/4-inch wooden dowel will work fine.
Find a company in your area that sells sliding glass doors they should have one.
If you can't find the metal sticks use a good piece of 2x4 you can cut it to size.
Or an old broom handle-- measure the distance and check around-- might as well have security for free!
good luck
