If you are able to identify this as the Regal Jumping Spider, HANG ON TO THEM!! We have them in the Central Valley of California and they are great. They will go after brown recluse, black widows, and even some exotic spiders (?) that have made it here from the middle east. My sons think it's great to capture poisonous spiders and see how long it takes this Jumping Spider (we call them wolf spiders) to "win" the battle.
We also have these spiders in Sacramento,CA I have never seen the before but they are jumpers.. and very big.. I have been finding them all over my house.. Does anyone know if they are dangerous?
