I am growing Purple bell peppers in my garden in Northern Wyoming and they dont seem to be getting any bigger?

Question:I have a small garden in Northern Wyoming in the bighorn basin and my bell peppers don't seem to be getting any bigger. They are healthy but are growing slowly. Is there anyone there with any Ideas on what I need to do?

Answers:
One of the best things to do, for any vegetable garden, is to spread coffee grinds around the base of the plants! This has created terrific growth for our peppers and tomatoes especially !! I've also been told, that spreading the grinds around the base of your hosta plants, will deter slugs from enjoying them !
